It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Connie Brown on July 23, 2023. Born on January 20, 1956, she led a full and vibrant life, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Connie is survived by her husband, Michael Brown, and children; Son, Jeremy Brothers and his wife Sheryl; Daughter Jackie Whisenhut and her wife Misty Daughter Marie Rowell and her husband Robert Rowell; and Son-in-law, Steve Riley. She was a loving grandmother to Jordan Glass, Conner Glass, and Christopher Riley. She was also blessed with a strong connection to her in-laws, Father-in-law, Jim Browm, and Mother-in-law, Doris Brown.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Bryan, and her beloved grandson, Jeffery Riley, whose memories she held close to her heart.

Connie was a woman of simple pleasures. She found joy in the taste of Dr. Pepper and the tunes of Oldies music echoing through her home. A woman with distinguished tastes, she had a special fondness for dancing shows, notably Dancing with the Stars and The Masked Singer, alongside the family-oriented reality show, 7 Little Johnsons. Her love for cinema was evident in her appreciation for the adrenaline pumping 'The Fast and The Furious', the classic 'Top Gun', and the charisma of Elvis on-screen.

She enjoyed cheering on Alabama and The Atlanta Braves, fervently standing by her teams through thick and thin. Connie had a heart for community, often dedicating her time to quilting, an activity she found both engaging and relaxing. Locally, she treasured spending time at Chef T's in Alexandria and the Red Lobster, places she often frequented.

Connie will be remembered for her steadfast loyalty to those she loved, and the joy she found in the many simple pleasures of life. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
