Took a specific destination trip to Granby for the sole purpose to memorialize my special friend and wanted to see what Connie found as her favorite happy place.  Wish we had held a time together there  as a keepsake today but there were many others that took its place as I sat and reflected.  XO
My first cousin Connie was my childhood playmate .  My mother and her's were sisters.  We lived about a mile from eachother  on farms,  so were kind of stuck together..  Our fathers by the way were also 1st cousins.  We shared many childhood adventures, while not really being exactly alike.  Which I think was good.  We both were a bit of tomboys, but Connie was much more shall I say feminine.  The boys took a liking!  Myself not so interested.  We both loved animals and horses.  I will always treasure such a young and sort of innocent childhood.  Connie was always beautiful.  I send my sincere condolences and wish for you to remember the great times!!!  Jana Schraeder

I wish I could hug you and just see your face one more time, but now I have memories to stand in your place.  Gone but not ever forgotten, she will always be in my heart.  She is now free to fly with the angels.  Rest in peace my dear sister.
To Connie’s family, my heart is very sad and while we havent kept up these past recent years, we just knew we were always important to each other.  May the Lord Bless You and keep your family in His care to always be near to give you comfort.  Will look forward to seeing this sweet friend on the other side. ❤️
Rest in peace Aunt Connie, may you fly with the angels. Love, Lauren Butler
