So sorry to hear of the sudden passing of a dear grade school classmate & friend. Sincerest sympathies to her family. Coleen Seitz Stanley

WOW. I am at a loss for words. I am just now finding out about this tragedy. My condolences to Connie's family and friends. Hi, my name is Chelsea Bradley. I first met Connie when I was given the opportunity to house sit for her while she was away on one of her many adventures. I continued to watch her house for alittle over 5 years consistently as she took her trips around the world. I would always get very excited because she would travel to best places and would always think to bring me back a piece of where she was. She would invite me over from time to time to check out her latest renovation and to catch up. She was very proud of her home and her accomplishments. We had a wonderful friendship that grew and grew. We were always checking in on each other and she would often remind me that she is very independent and if she needed anything that she would reach out. We were checking in on each other during COVID and I would always reach out to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day. She told me that I was like a daughter to her and she was always so thankful that I reached out on Mother’s Day. Connie was truly a gem. I last got together with Connie on July 1st, 2023. We went out for lunch at an Italian restaurant and if you know Connie, you know she loves her wine. We had so much fun that day, we laughed, we shared so much about our families, and we told eachother we would be in touch. August 21, 2023 I texted her checking in; no response. Within the next months I continued reaching out and calling her; no response. Today, October 8, 2023, I decided to drive by her house because I was concerned. That’s when I saw the for sale sign outside of her home. I had this sadness come over me because I now knew what I had been fearing this whole time. Connie was such a beautiful human inside and out. Connie you will be deeply missed.

I also grew a close relationship with Gucci as well. Gucci was her pride and joy; her bestfriend. She contacted me the day that he passed and we both cried together.

Connie was a firecracker and always had something silly to say. Rest in peace Connie. I love you so much.

Unfortunately I am unable to make the funeral but I have left my information including my email if someone would be so kind as to email me a copy of the pamphlet from the funeral. It would be much appreciated. Thank you to everyone who is continuing to take good care of her name and thank you Connie for always trusting me to take care of you, your house, and your pets “your children.”

Saddened and shocked by her death, we last spent time at a Bietz Cousins' reunion just before the pandemic in 2020. Then it was sharing river travel adventures on Facebook.   She's is the 4th (and youngest) cousin of her generation that we have lost since the most recent reunion, that I know of.

I just saw on FB about Connie passing.  I never did get to meet her. About 2 yrs ago I found my half sister Gina through Ancestry website.  And found out Connie was married to my dad. We texted a few times and she sent me a few pics of my dad. ( I never had meet my dad). So I will be forever grateful that she sent me a few pics. I wish I could of had a chance to meet Connie.  In her pics she was a beautiful woman.  I bet she was more beautiful in-person. And she had a beautiful smile. I am so sad for everyone that you lost this lady. I will cherish the few texts that I have from Connie.
