We are deeply saddened to announce that on August 26, 2025, we said goodbye to our mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Connetta May Harvey

Born in Truro, NS September 25, 1950, she was predeceased by: her parents Howard Lawrence Harvey and Minnie Elizabeth Harvey (Fenton) as well as her siblings Bernard Harvey and Phillip Harvey.

She is survived by: her siblings Howard Harvey (Florence), Wade Harvey (Brenda) and Cindy Hughes (Veino); her children Wayne (Joe) Harvey (Sandy), Eva Creelman, and Deanna MacKenzie (Jason); her grandchildren Brittany, Samantha, Daniel, Justin, Patrick, Courtney and Liberty; thirteen great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Connie loved with all her heart. There was nothing more important to her than her family. She had a great sense of humour and loved to laugh with family and friends.

We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the ICU department at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre.

A celebration of life will be held on her birthday, September 25, 2025 at the Truro Horseman’s Club, 288 Main St, Truro, NS from 4-7pm. Food will be provided.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Colchester East Hants Health Centre.
