Conner's obituary
From the day Conner was born he was a happy and healthy baby. growing up, Conner enjoyed playing superheroes, especially the red power ranger. Conner’s mother, Brenda, shared that at age 5 he began wearing the red power ranger costume, even after Halloween was long over and up until he grew out of it and the mask was completely falling apart. Conner had a passion for baseball. At the young age of four, he began playing t-ball. his natural athletic ability enabled him to be the most incredible first baseman. He was recruited and earned a scholarship playing through his second year of college at EMU. Conner loved fixing his own vehicle. It was no surprise when he began a career as a diesel mechanic. He began working with city dump trucks and then later became a shift supervisor at one of Tidewaters largest diesel trucking companies. Over the past year, Conner had begun his own business, Quick Fix Auto Glass. Conner began this on his own but quickly realized the need to recruit others when he went from working at kiosks in gas station parking lots to landing large company contracts throughout Tidewater area. Conner took great pride in his work. Conner enjoyed fishing, playing poker, and spending time with his family and friends. Conner loved family vacations when he would get quality time with all his family.
When Conner was 7 years old, he began living with his father due to unforeseen circumstance with the health of his mother. However, as Conner reached the age of a young adult, a relationship began to form, and the depth of their love grew stronger than ever and continued to grow throughout the years. The love that Conner had for his “nana” Marie smith, needs no words. Marie was present at Conner’s birth and from that day forward she loved Conner like he was her own. Marie babysat Conner as an infant and after Brenda’s return to work. She continued to be a support throughout Conner’s life until her unexpected passing. this was a devastating loss for Conner. Conner also had a love for his girlfriend, Hannah. Conner and Hannah were saving for a new home and enjoying their lives together as best friends and companions.
Conner had developed allergy induced asthma as an adult. Conner’s case was severe and required several hospital stays, allergy shots, medications, and a recent surgery to remove polyps in his sinus cavities.
