Colton's obituary

Colton S. Longworth, 33, of Woodsfield, formerly of Wapakoneta, died on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, in Memphis, TN, in a tragic logging accident. He was born on December 3, 1990, to Robert J. Longworth and Shannon J. Sundean. His mother, Shannon J. Sundean, and step father, Gary C. Sundean, survive in Lexington, KY. His father preceded him in death.

Survivors also include his two children, Alyssa Anabell Longworth (12) and Adrian Beau-Sillus Longworth (10) of New Matamoras, OH; five siblings, Autumn Longworth, of Wapakoneta, Kayla (Kevin) Bellman, of Wapakoneta, Mark Ethan (Cheyenne) Luchini, of Lima, Shelby Luchini, of Lima, and Jayse Longworth, of Cridersville; many nieces and nephews and many other wonderful friends and family.

Colton loved his children more than anything. They were his pride and joy! He was tough as nails but yet as ornery as could be. You would usually find him with a beer in one hand and a fishing pole in the other. He was always cracking a joke and eager to make everyone laugh. He was a hard working and adventurous soul and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2024, from 6pm - 10pm at the Wapak VFW Post 8445 located at 712 Dixie Hwy., Wapakoneta, OH 45985. Donations will be accepted and put into a limited-access fund for the children.
