It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Colton Aardema, who left us on the 27th of June, 2023, at the age of 26. Known for his infectious laughter and boundless love, Colton will be dearly missed.

Born in 1997, Colton was a jovial, attention-grabbing character whose distinctive personality was best described as hilarious, goofy, and refreshingly down-to-earth. His sense of humor was as undeniable as his love for his brothers and sisters.  Colton will be reunited with his big brother, and best friend Joshua.

Colton was a great advocate for active living, as demonstrated by his love for sports, particularly Lacrosse, Wrestling, and Longboarding. In his leisure time, he was often found hiking with his friends, making great memories in local spots. His delightful inappropriate jokes- especially made in the worst times, were treasured by all who knew him.

Apart from his passions and hobbies, Colton was well-known for sharing profound life lessons. 'Laugh it off, brother' was a philosophy that he not only believed in but also practiced throughout his life, effortlessly filling the atmosphere with positivity and joy.

Colton's legacy, a legacy of laughter and love, will continue to live on. Remembering him, we are reminded of the simplicity and beauty of humor, friendship, and love. He encouraged us to be authentic, to laugh, and to cherish relationships, and it is these lessons that we will carry forward in his honor.

We extend our deepest condolences to his girlfriend and family and all who were fortunate enough to know him. May his soul find eternal peace and continue to spread love and laughter in the heavens above.
