Background
Colin Grey dropped off his wife, Rose, at Detroit Metro Airport on the morning of November 29, 2024. On the way back to Canada he was pulled over to customs for impaired driving. The officers ignored the information that they received that he had Type II Diabetes, a condition that presents with the same symptoms of intoxication, and transferred him to the police, after four hours. The police then suspended his license and impounded his car, again ignoring his diabetes. Minutes after being released by the police, after being held for another two hours in their custody, and steps away from the police station entrance, Colin collapsed and died. Colin's sudden and unnecessary death has left his family heartbroken, grieving and unable to pay for unexpected funeral expenses. Additionally, due to the questions surrounding the irregularities of his death, Colin's life insurance policy is being held until any and all investigations are completed. Please assist Rose Grey and her family at this tragic time. All money raised will go directly to the family to cover funeral expenses and, if needed, to get the legal representation that might be required in their quest for transparency and accountability in this egregious incident.
