It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Coleman Dewvall, a beloved family man and pillar of his community, on February 17, 2022. Born on February 11, 1934, Coleman's vibrant spirit and unwavering love for his family defined his remarkable life.
Coleman's memory will continue to live through his loving family members. He is survived by his loving daughter, Cleo O’Rear, and his son-in-law, Cecil O’Rear. His legacy will continue to be cherished by his grandchildren; Denise McFarland, Jason Pieratt, Madison Smith, Sterling Dewvall, Lydia Robinson, Liam Robinson, and Merrick Lapham.
Known widely for his kind, thoughtful, hard working, and creative disposition, Coleman's life was enriched by simple pleasures. He cherished traditional country cooking, his favorite, and the fizz and distinct flavors of Dr Pepper. He spent his leisure time fishing, building, and most importantly, spending time with his family. For Coleman, long walks outside served dual purposes - a way to appreciate the beauty of his surroundings and a means of staying active.
Coleman had a generous heart, showcasing his commitment towards the cause 'Feed the Children'. His thoughtfulness extended beyond his family, reaching those who were less fortunate. His favorite color, blue, was a reflection of the calmness and depth of his persona.
Coleman Dewvall's departure has left a void in our lives, but his enduring spirit and the way he led his life with grace and kindness inspire us. We will observe his memory, celebrate his life, and hold the values he cherished dearly in our hearts.
