Coleen Markle, 61, of Hatfield, passed away Thursday, April 18th, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Gary J. Markle, her husband of 35 years.

Born May 1st, 1962 in Norristown, she was the daughter of Deanna (Volpe) Moyer, of Hatfield, and the late Edward Moyer.

Early in her career, Coleen was employed as a vice president with Commonwealth Federal Bank. Later, she followed her passion for interior design for over 25 years, first with Ethan Allen, Montgomeryville, and later with Closets By Design, Malvern. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family, especially her children. 

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her sons, Jonathan E. Markle (Sarah Van Belleghem) of Newport Coast, CA, Christopher E Markle of Bala Cynwyd, and Alexander J. Markle of Reston, VA; two daughters, Erica Schifko (Gregg) of Asbury, NJ, and Traci Markle of Denver, CO; two grandchildren, Evan and Brandon; her brother, Edward Moyer (Kathleen) of Hatfield; and sister, Sandra Shute (Robert) of Harleysville.

Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family after 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4th, 2024 at the Markle Residence, 123 Kimberly Way, Hatfield, followed by the Life Celebration at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Coleen's memory to the ASPCA, 424 E. 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128.
