Colby Barber 25 died June 13, 2020. He was born on December 2, 1994, the son of Paul Barber and Jannell Carlson. Colby was raised in the Clay Center and Wakefield communities. He attended CCCHS and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. Colby worked for his grandfather at Carlson Heating and Air before attending Pinnacle Institute for wind turbine technology.
