COL (R) Robert Merrill Tuttle, Jr., 73, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Wednesday December 4, 2019 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He was born on March 10, 1946 on base in West Point, New York to the late Robert Merrill Tuttle, Sr. and Dolores D. (Young) Tuttle.

On Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at 1:00 pm Eastern, Col. (R) Robert Tuttle, Jr. will receive military funeral honors with an escort at Arlington National Cemetery. With respect for Bob's wishes for a smaller service, and in accordance with COVID-19 restrictions, in-person attendance for the funeral service at Arlington National Cemetery is invite-only. Due to COVID-19, there will be no reception. A live stream will be provided for remote viewing by anyone, from anywhere.
