On a slightly rainy morning, Ade Kido (Furukido) was laid to rest at the Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier. Close family and friends witnessed as he received military honors with the presentation of the American flag and the playing of Taps, followed by beautiful prayers from a Catholic priest.

Thank you for serving this country, the youth, and the community. You will be missed.

Ade should've had his own cartoon show. He had a unique way of speaking that was sometimes difficult to understand. It wasn't pidgin, it wasn't broken English. He would have me rolling on the floor laughing to the point of tears!! 😂😂😂
