Clyde Jeffrey Pruitt, age 52, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 24, 2022. Jeff was the son of the late Clyde Jennings Pruitt and the late Norma Sue Cope Pruitt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Jackson Pruitt, his brother, Ricky June Cline and his maternal and parental grandparents.

Jeff was born in Jackson County NC, but resided in Cabarrus County most of his life.

He is survived by his children, Christopher Pruitt, Cassandra Pruitt and Candice Pruitt and their mother, all of New Bern NC. Additional survivors include his siblings, Glenda Jenkins, John Cline Sr., Loretta Easton, Deborah Owen and Donna Conner, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins and friends.

No formal services are scheduled, but casting of his remains will take place at a later date.
