Clyde (CL) William Lucas

Clyde (CL) William Lucas, 75, peacefully passed away at home after a brief battle with cancer, on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. He was born on November 11, 1945, in Dodgeville, the son of Clarence and Mabel (Gabler) Lucas. Clyde grew up on the family farm in Highland, Wisconsin and graduated from Highland High School. Clyde enjoyed most of his career as a long distance truck driver. He also spent time in construction and farming in Texas and Georgia. He returned home to Wisconsin in 2009 where he spent his remaining years farming and enjoying time with his family, many cherished friends and watching his Packers & Brewers games. Clyde is survived by his daughter, Wendy of Ridgeway, WI; son, Jerry of Greenview, IL; daughter, Teresa (Jeff) Loken of Clayton, NC; daughter, Roxann of Irving, Texas; daughter, Rachel of Grand Prairie, Texas, Grandchildren; Tyler, Joshua, Carlee, Levi, Gauge, Jeffrey, Alana, Trevor, Trey, Great Grandchildren; Aubrey, Emma, James, Kierah, Lincoln, Everly, Camden, Palmer, sister; Joyce Dyer of Madison, nephew; Mark (Barb) Dyer, niece; Marla (Paul) Helstrom. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother in law, Byron Dyer, nephew; Dean Dyer.
Due to Covid-19, a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
