It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Clyde "Les" Hayes, who passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023, at the age of 81. Born in 1942, Les was a devoted husband, loving grandfather, and an incredible friend to many.

Les is survived by his cherished wife, Darlene Kenny Hayes, who was his soulmate and the love of his life, and his three grandchildren Orion, Raith and Ellianna. Darlene and Les built a wonderful life together, full of love, laughter, and adventure. Les was known for his honor, fairness, patience, and forgiving nature, always putting the needs of others before his own. His selflessness and genuine compassion will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Les had a passion for the outdoors, and he enjoyed exploring the world through traveling, fishing, gardening, and bird watching. These hobbies were a testament to his love for nature and had a profound impact on his outlook on life. He found joy and serenity in the beauty of the world around him, often sharing this love with those closest to him.

His favorite color was blue, a calming hue that embodied the soothing and peaceful presence he brought into the lives of others. As a true gentleman, Les was always there for his family and friends, providing wise counsel, a listening ear, and a warm embrace in times of need.

Les leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humility, and unwavering love that will forever be engraved in the hearts and memories of those who loved him. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the incredible life he lived, and the profound impact he had on us all.
