On October 10, 2020, Clinton Philpot (Clint) died unexpectedly at his home in Hebron Kentucky. He was 65 years old.

Clint is survived by his wife Marty; his daughter Audrey Philpot Hafner, son-in-law Mike Hafner and grandchildren, Isaac, Amelia and Alex; his son Brad Philpot and his wife, Magi, and grandchildren Gabi and Cole; his stepchildren Adam Tupper, Allison Tupper, and step-grandchildren Caleb, Gabby, Isaac and Wes Lunsford and their father, Josh Lunsford.

Clint was born on November 21, 1954 in Hamilton,Ohio. He graduated from Fairfield Senior High School in 1973. In August of 1973 started working at AK Steel New Miami, Ohio. In August 2006 Clint retired from AK in Steel Middletown, Ohio.

It was Clint’s wish that, after passing away, he wanted to be cremated and his ashes scattered in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

A memorial service for Clint is not being scheduled at this time due to the Pandemic. Once it is safe to get together, we will schedule a celebration of Clint’s life
