I was so sorry to hear of Cliff’s passing. Our paths crossed so many times from elementary school music teach, our daughter’s piano teacher, providing music at the local community theater, co-directing a children’s vacation theater camp, to sharing a Thanksgiving dinner at our home with his children. Cliff had very big shoes to fill when he started his position as a music teacher at the elementary school. You see Cliff was hired to fill the shoes of our loved music teacher who had suddenly passed in the middle of the school year. Cliff’s gentle, easy going way was exactly what our school needed to help us heal. He not only taught the classes and collaborated on the 4th & 5th grade’s musical but he listened to his students grief and gave words of encouragement. He became a friend to all. ❤️
I was so saddened when I heard the news of Cliff's passing. He and I were roommates at Liberty. He was easily the most chill roommate I ever had. His love of music was immeasurable. His silence regarding my having a TV and a convection oven (both prohibited items) in our dorm room was also cool.  Gonna miss you, Cliffy. Â
