Cliff's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clifford "Cliff" Nauenburg, a man known for his love of family, laughter, and zest for life. Cliff was born on November 11, 1961, and passed away far too soon on July 12, 2023. He leaves behind his four beloved children, Amy Fleury, Clifford Nauenburg, Courtney Meckley, Elizabeth Nauenburg, as well as six grand children. Also, survived by his sisters Debbie Kohley and Diane Luciano, and their families, girlfriend Connie Dixon, and their pup Cosmo.
Cliff was a man of many passions. His love for Mexican food was only matched by his fondness for a good pecan pie. A huge fan of music, Kid Rock and Aerosmith were some of his favorites. In his leisure time, he enjoyed cheering on the Chicago Bears and spending quality time with family.
Cliff had a competitive spirit and found joy in winning. From the fresh air and open greens of the golf course to the fenced dugout of the ball field, his love for competition was only matched by his skill. His other interests include traveling, motorcycles, and going to concerts.
His motto was "Family comes first", and he was committed to keeping his family together at all costs. He loved deeply and cherished spending time together, especially during the holidays.
Cliff’s passing is a tremendous loss to all who knew him. His undying spirit, his love for his family, and his unwavering sense of humor will be missed but never forgotten. As we remember Cliff, let us cherish the times shared, the laughter resonated, and the memories created.
