Clay's obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Clay "Hank" Hanks, known to many as Hank, but preferentially Clay. Born on the 6th of January 1967, Clay's life was a testament to resilience and love until his untimely death on the 25th of June, 2025.
Clay is remembered by his loved ones and leaves behind an indelible legacy. He is survived by his dedicated wife, Angie Hanks, who stood by his side through life's many ups and downs. His memory lives on through his children; son, Christopher Hanks and daughters, Amanda Stuart and Alisha Hanks, whom he doted on with immense pride and joy.
His mother, Mary, and father, Charles Hanks, mourn their loss, as does his brother, Charles Hanks Jr. His relationships with his former wives, Cindy Rutherford and Cindy Bridges, were a testament to his understanding nature and capacity for maintaining amicable ties. Notably, he married Cindy Bridges in 1987, a union which, over time, concluded but left a lasting impact.
Clay became a proud father on August 8, 1988, a role he cherished and navigated with care and devotion. His dedication to his family and friends, and his enduring spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we mourn this loss, we also celebrate Clay's life and honor his memory. He will be dearly missed, yet his spirit continues to inspire those he has left behind.
