Background
As you can imagine, this has come as a huge shock to us all. Although Clay had thought about the eventuality of his own demise frequently, he had not, to our knowledge, taken any steps to prepare for it.
Without any guidance from Clay, we are left with only our intuition and memories of conversations with him to guess what he would have wanted. And, we have only our own personal funds to pay for any arrangements, and they are tight.
We had a nice, intimate celebration of Clay's life at his home in Desert Hot Springs. Kirsten has taken care of the cremation and related expenses and has great ideas for ways to share our love for Clay. One of them is to install a memorial bench in honor of the Baker family at a location in the Bluff Lake area. Kirsten has more details about that.
