My sincerest condolences to all. I met Claudio and his family in 1971; he was still in school. Claudio loved his red Fiat Spider, Roma, the beach and simply enjoying life. We made a pizza once when his friend Gianni visited from Rome and I couldn't believe it when they threw the dough against the wall! Not something I had ever seen, such fun.
As I age, I sometimes Google friends from the past and am still having trouble believing what I just found today. Tears and warm thoughts to the others who knew him.
My wife had the pleasure of meeting Claudio on a couple of occasions. Him and I shared the greatest times throughout the 90s and most recently I was honoured when he came with his family to visit us at our place. I’ll never forget our special bond and friendship. Always Eduardo
Happy birthday uncle Claudio. Your service today was so beautiful, and it was clear that everyone who met you was touched by your humour and storytelling. We love you and miss you. Xo
We are so very sorry for your loss Kristine! Our deepest condolences from our family and staff at Shakespeare’s. Claudio was an amazing guy and he will be missed. 😢
Penny and I were saddened by Claudios recent passing. Your hospitality and special treatment was always there for us when we dined at “ Claudios”. We will miss Claudio but look forward to seeing you again to share more memories.
Claudio filled a very special place in our hearts, as steadfast friend since the days of yore. Our hearts ache with the sadness knowing he can no longer walk this earth alongside you his family and we his friends.
We are so very grateful for a surprise visit from Uncle Claudio and Kristina this past May at our new home. It was so very special to have had such a welcome connection during a time where we have been so limited in our social contact. We laughed, talked and made memories. Little did we know, it would be our last time together. We’re so happy that the kids are able to share this beautiful memory. I still can’t believe you’re gone. Our hearts are so broken, especially for GP and Kristine who love you so deeply without condition. Love always from all of the Bonars xoxoxo
When I first met Claudio, he was dating my sister in law, Marina and he was driving a little Fiat 128? sports car. He remarked that he was driving on the 401 and saw another top down convertible sports car up ahead and the passenger had gorgeous flowing blonde hair, swirling in the breeze; never one one to miss a pretty girl, he sped up to get beside the other car, ready to flash his beautiful smile only to find that he was gazing over at an Afghan Hound, riding in the passenger seat. 🤗🤗as he broke into a howl of laughter.
Words cannot express the sorrow we are all feeling at this time and we cannot imagine what you are going through.
Claudio always brought a smile to our faces whenever we saw him. He always made you feel that he was so happy to see you.
We will always cherish the time we spent with Claudio (and Kristine) at GP and Marie’s wedding in PEC. Claudio will always have a special place in our hearts.
Claudio will be greatly missed. So many great memories to cherish him by. Playing poker after work. Watching soccer. To working very late on New Year’s Eve. Claudio would not let us go home until we received the Blessing from the Pope. 4:00am? 5:00?
