Claudine B. Lindsey, 98, of Kerman, died Monday, March 25, 2024. She was a farmer.

She was born January 6, 1926, in Belzoni, Mississippi to the late Jesse and Minnie Bufkin. She met her husband, Harold H. Lindsey after moving to Kerman and they married on January 2, 1944. Harold preceded her in death in August 2002.

Along with her parents and her husband, Claudine was preceded in death by her son Randall H. Lindsey, and all of her brothers: Lavatus Bufkin, Bennie Bufkin, Albert (Sonny) Bufkin, Harry (HL) Bufkin and her sisters Alyne B. Matthews, Mildred B. Oaks, and Mary B. Lambeth. Claudine is survived by her daughter Sharon and husband Steve, her daughter-in-law Patricia Gray, and husband Jim. Her grandchildren Renee Sengel and husband Scott, Alison Neuner and husband Ryan, Rhonda Brewer and husband Charlie, and Robin Girard and husband Louis.

Claudine had 8 great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Jonah, and Jacob Stengel, Hanna, Harper, and Hadley Neuner, and Matthew and Abigail Girard.

There will be a viewing at Stephens and Bean Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 9 (3-7 pm) and the funeral service wil be at 10 am Wednesday, April 10. Burial will be at Belmont Memorial Cemetary immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers please send donations for a memorial bench to honor Claudine and Harold at the Pentecostal Tabernacle in Kerman. A donation to a charity of your choice would also be appropriate.
