Dear Claudia- will always remember her with love. She was unfailing kind to me in what were some the hardest years of my life. Much love dear sister in Christ. DiAnne Rivette
My name is Bob Toth. I'm sending my condolences for the passing of Claudia. You see, my wife Claudia Toth passed away June 16th of stage 4 colon cancer. I happened to see your Claudia passed away and it immediately made me feel sorrow for you. Please let me know if this e-mail gets through. God bless you!! btoth101@optonline.net
Claudia has been a part of my life for 36 years. She helped raise me, loved me, and supported me. Even after my dad passed, Claudia remained a special part of my life. She loved my husband and was loved in return. She adored my children and always called them her grandchildren. This world has lost a bright light as Claudia passed from time to eternity. I am comforted by the knowledge that she and my dad are reunited. If there is a flea market in heaven, they’ve probably already stopped by. I will miss you Claudia. I barely remember my life that you weren’t a part of it. Give dad a hug for me. I love you.
Such a lovely lady, and she was for many of us and Angel when times were bad. Several people in the apartment that she managed went through financial disaster, and Claudia worked with you. Always a beautiful smile and a kind word. I will always love her. And I know she is now in the arms of Jesus.
This lady was a blessing to us for many, many, years. The manager of the apartments we lived in for over 20 years, and also when we came back from Africa. Always felt encouraged by her chats, especially when we left, her phrase was "Keep looking up". God used Claudia Shumate in our lives mightily. Now she is UP, and doesn't want to come back!! Praise God for her life, she glorifed God.
I remember Claudia way back. Uncle Sikes would bring Peggy, Donna, Ann , and Claudia to Granddaddy Bucks at a family gathering. All Grannie Bankies children would be there. My dad's name was Toby Collins. I really thought Aunt Ruth and Aunt Rita was true ladies back then.
Diane, so sorry to hear about Claudia. She was a true treasure, always smiling and very loving. I did not get to see her that often only at family furnerals but it was always like we were still very close. My heart goes out for you and your family and we will always miss the sweet spirit of Claudia..
I am truly praying for you and your family. Claudia was so special to me when I lived in the apartment complex where she was the Managerđź’• God bless you and your family.
