Claudia Marion (Doxsee) Garcia, 88, died December 9, 2023 surrounded by her family at Vitas Hospice in Miami, FL. She was born July 28, 1935 in Lindenhurst, NY to Willet and Margaret Doxsee. She married her soulmate, Peter Anthony Garcia, on July 15, 1961. 

Claudia was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband Peter, her son Brian Garcia and his wife Kristine, her daughter Patricia (Garcia) Cavanaugh and her husband Larry, and her daughter Cindy (Garcia) Byrd and her husband Timothy. She is also survived by her granddaughters Brianna, Danielle, Marisa, Sara, Erin, Emily and Hailee and her great-grandson Brayden.

We will not be doing a service. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in her name. This is a foundation that is close to her family's hearts.
