Claudia's obituary
Claudia Gail Mann
April 16, 1974 – June 11, 2025
Claudia Gail Mann, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2025, leaving behind a radiant legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. She is survived by her beloved son, Jeremy Wayne Mann, his wife Stacy Mann, her devoted mother Gail Hartlett, and her precious granddaughter, Annabel Claudia "Bella" Mann. Also surviving are her former husband and lifelong friend, JB Mann, and the sister of her heart, Tanya Deckard.
She was preceded in death by her angel baby, Mia, and her father, James Harlett.
Claudia was a free spirit and the life of every room she entered. With quick wit, effortless charm, and a presence that could not be ignored, she made those around her feel like they were part of something big—and most likely a little crazy. Known for saying she could get through anything with a little lipstick and good champagne, Claudia was the definition of spontaneity, often pulling Jeremy and Tanya along on last-minute adventures with no plan, but always a full heart and a good laugh.
A passionate world traveler, Claudia would fly anywhere for a new experience. Her love for the newness and adventure of life took her from the shores of the Caribbean to the mountains of Alaska, and so many places in between. She had almost boundless energy and would have a song for any situation—which she would gladly sing at the top of her lungs, completely off-key, in the middle of a crowd. Her hobbies included almost anything for about two weeks before she’d completely lose interest and find something new. We all loved that about her. She loved the hustle of a city street, the peace of a mountain in the country, and deep late-night conversations.
Her favorite moments were girls' nights with her best sister Tanya, goofing around with Jeremy, and quiet cuddle sessions with her sweet Bella.
The ultimate Boss Lady, Claudia was driven and determined, achieving great success at Austin XBiotech, where she rose to the highest levels in her career. Beyond her career achievements, Claudia had a deep compassion for children, dedicating her time and heart to charitable work with Beads of Courage and Children’s Miracle Network (CMN).
Claudia’s mischievous smile, her one-liners, her laughter, and her endless love will be deeply missed. She will forever be truly unforgettable.
In accordance with her wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held for those closest to her. Claudia asked that those she loved not mourn her passing, but instead revel in the memories and time they had together—and to know, without a doubt, that she had the time of her life.
