Kevin Moses Ross was born January 7, 1946 in Gary, Indiana

to Mr. Roosevelt and Cornelia Ross, the seventh of ten children. He

passed away peacefully on January 10, 2019 at Southlake Methodist

[Unity Hospice) Hospital after a short liness.

He attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School, Class of

1964, and worked at United States Steel for 31 years.

Kevin was married to Sonya Shepard. He had three children:

Trammel Ross, Lance and Quaylon Ross . Kevin loved to

travel and would take his children and grandchildren with him.

Kevin was a faithful member of Logan Park Assembly of Christ

since 1982. She was baptized in Jesus' Name and received the gift of

the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:28 under the pastorage of Bishop

George L. Stearnes. She was very active with the Kitchen Committee,

Usher Board, and Sunday School Class 15.

Claudette was preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt and

Cornelia Styles; husband, Willie Shepard; two brothers, Theodore

and Maurice Styles; three sisters, Sandra Gorham, Anna Finch,

Arlease Sweezer; two sons, Quaylon Shepard and Trammel Styles.

She leaves behind beloved family members to cherish her memories,

her son, Lance Shepard; eight grandchildren, Jaylon, Jamar, JaQuay,

Tia, Treyanna, Khi, Quinn, Trammel Jr.; two brothers, James and

Richard Styles; two sisters, Flora Meeks and Margaret McCloud, and

many nieces, nephews and cousins.
