Claude's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claude Mayer Jr., a dedicated family man, fervent Christian, and respected CPA. Claude was born on February 5, 1946, and left this world for his heavenly home on April 18, 2025.
Remembered for his warm, loving, kind, and peaceful personality, Claude etched a place in the hearts of all those who had the privilege to know him. His favorite color was blue, reflecting his serene and gentle spirit, which he maintained throughout his life.
One of Claude's greatest accomplishments was his lifelong commitment to faith. He found Jesus Christ as his personal Savior early in life, and his devotion anchored him throughout his life’s journey, influencing not only his personal choices but also his professional life as a Certified Public Accountant. His integrity, diligence, and dedication to his work inspired all those around him.
Another paramount achievement in his life was his blissful marital journey with Margaret (Cenie) Mayer, his beloved wife of nearly 58 years. Their bond of love and commitment was an inspiration to their loved ones and served as a beacon of what a loving marriage should exemplify.
One of Claude's greatest joys was providing a wonderful life for his family. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Cenie) Mayer; sister, Dayle Winslow; son, Benjamin Mayer; daughter, Lisa Mayer Cole; son-in-law, David Cole; daughter-in-law, Alanna Mayer; granddaughters, Carol Finkle, Rachel Finkle; and grandsons, Roger Finkle, Gabriel Mayer, and Evan Mayer.
Claude Mayer Jr. was a beacon of light in this world. His memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, colleagues, and the countless lives he touched throughout his journey.
