I met Clark in 1970 at York Hospital.  He had just completed his administrative residency and I was starting mine.  We remained close friends for the following 56 years even working together in running a number of hospitals for over 35 years.  Clark was the best of us and I am so very proud to say that we were life long best friends.
The loss of Clark is painful as I deal with and imagine the heartache throughout the family. Yet, I immediately feel better when I recall endless memories of Clark and Sally's family get-togethers, filled with lively conversation, so much laughter, epicurean delights generously shared, along with his warmth and love for everyone present. Those were blessed times. Now I imagine him with David and that brings both tears and comfort. My heart is with you all.

Many fond memories of my cousin Clark. As a little girl I was enamored of my tall, handsome, older cousin. My dad and his dad were first cousins and were very close all of their lives. As my brothers and I were growing up we visited them in KY, OH, and WV.   I was a teenager when Clark brought Sally to meet my parents. We all adored her.   I took my first plane trip from Chicago to Huntington for their wedding when I was a sophomore at Northwestern U.  I still remember the wedding and the Naval officers in their whites. Over the years I have only seen them occasionally, but I have never forgotten their kindnesses. Clark was one of the nicest people I ever met. And so was Sally.   All my love and sympathy to Sally and the family.
