Clark's obituary

It is with immense sadness that the family of Clark Asvestas shares news of his sudden passing on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 68 years young.

Clark was the devoted husband of Maria Asvestas, the love of his life for 40 wonderful years. Everything Clark did was rooted in his deep love and commitment to Maria, always striving to protect her, support her, and make her happy.

He was a proud and loving father to Cassandra Asvestas, Amanda (Jeremy) Ramsey, Adrianna (Derrick) Sicard, Marlaina (Michael) Sacchetti, and Alexander Copeland, and a doting grandfather to Bella, CJ, Val, Ari, Lena, Zac, and Cali, whom he completely adored. Clark’s face lit up whenever his grandchildren were near, and his love for them was unmistakable.

Clark is also survived by his four brothers, Charles Asvestas, Roger Asvestas, David Asvestas, and Samuel Asvestas, along with many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rita and Steven Asvestas, and his beloved brothers, Steven Asvestas and Ronnie Asvestas.

Clark will be remembered for his contagious smile, his unfiltered honesty, and his ability to always “tell it like it is”—a trait proudly inherited from his mother, Rita. He was a hardworking man who believed in perseverance and self-improvement. Later in life, Clark returned to school, earned his GED, and went on to receive his Network Engineering certification, a testament to his intelligence, determination, and refusal to ever give up on himself.

Known as the family’s “Mr. Fix-It,” Clark had an extraordinary ability to repair just about anything—cars, computers, electrical and plumbing issues, and more—always determined to help his loved ones thrive. His talents extended far beyond engineering; his natural talent and ear for music shone through his love of the guitar, which he often shared during cherished family jam sessions.

Above all, Clark was a strong, present father who taught his daughters to fight for what they deserved in life, to stand tall, and to never back down. His guidance, humor, and fierce love shaped the women they are today.

Clark Asvestas lived a life defined by love, resilience, loyalty, and heart. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Services for Clark Asvestas will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. at Church in the Pines located at 30 East St. Middleboro, MA

Followed by a celebration of life for Clark.
