Clarence's obituary

Clarence Parker Whittle III of Port Charlotte and Venice FL, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2019 after a long illness at the age of 89.

Parker was the beloved father of Buck (Kathy) Whittle of Seven Fields, PA, Mary (Whittle) Keane of Naperville, IL, John Whittle of Chatham, MA; dear brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chuck and Cheri Courtemanche of FL; loving friend, Jo Theriault of FL; grandfather of Shannon, Katie, Kerry, Andrew and Christian; great-grandfather of Norah Marie; brother of Richard (Jane) Whittle of MA.

His death was preceded by his sister Katherine, parents Clarence Parker, Jr. and Margaret, and past wives, Claire and Marilyn.

After serving in the Army, Parker graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist. He later lived in Hawaii and North Carolina. He especially loved time near the ocean--as an avid fisherman and beachcomber. He will surely be missed by many.

A ceremony to honor him is being planned at the Sarasota National Cemetery this fall.

In lieu of flowers, donations directly sent to the Veteran's Administration are appreciated.
