Clara "Sane" Johnson-Adams, 89, of Lisman, AL passed away peacefully on June 25, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones.  Clara grew up in Lisman, AL a town she loved and never left. She worked as home care giver for 62 years and enjoyed music, dancing, singing , cooking and hosting church events.  Clara will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Clara was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Doss Adams, son, Charles Adams, granddaughter, Florita Adams-Ballentine, daughter, Clara Adams-Mitchell .  She is survived by her sister Rosie Lee "Lil Sis" Johnson and brother Robert "Sonny Boy" Johnson , both of Songbird, Arkansas, sons, Johnny (Gloria) Adams (Lisman, AL),  Arthur Adams (Columbus, OH),  David Adams (Columbus, OH), Alonzo Adams (Columbus, OH), daugther, Mary Adams-Glover (Columbus, OH) , 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, cousins and friends.  Clara requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Clara’s loved one to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at Lisman Junior High School Auditorium on July, 1st, 2022 at 11:00 AM.
