Clara's obituary

Clara grew up with four brothers in Tamaulipas, Mexico. Born July 3rd, 1944, she was the only girl and the middle of five children. Naturally, she was the center of attention. Clara and her brothers lost their mother at a very young age and that loss molded her into the strong woman that she was and the caring mother that she was.

All those who were blessed to know Clara, knew how great of a cook she was and that she enjoyed teaching her kids her recipes and instilling in them a love for cooking. Clara was a force to be reckoned with on the dance floor and could outdance anyone.

Clara found her faith with the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and dedicated her life to teaching others about Jehovah. The friendships she made with her brothers and sisters at the Kingdom Hall became everlasting bonds.

Not only an amazing mom, but Clara was also a grandma, great grandma and great great grandma. She had 13 grandkids, 19 great grandkids and 3 great great grandkids. All of whom will miss her dearly.

Clara is survived by her children Diana Valdez Wilczynski (David) of Danville, Illinois, Anna Valdez Wallace (Dave) of Jackson, Tennessee, Eric Valdez Sr (Myrna) of Houston, Texas, Joe Valdez of Dallas, Texas, and Susan Valdez of Jackson, Tennessee. Also, by her last remaining brother Mario Estrada (Ana) Danville, IL.

Her grandkids Ashley Wilczynski (Luis) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Maria Ortiz of Zeeland, Michigan, Matthew Ford of Houston, Texas, Kassie Ortiz-Valentine (Shawn) of West Olive, Michigan, Eric Valdez Jr of Springfield, Illinois, Jakki Boomer (Zac) of Germany, Korrina Valdez- Parrish of Danville,  Micheal Jayden Valdez of Champaign, Illinois, Julian Valdez of Houston, Texas, Aaliyah Valdez of Houston, Texas, Imari Valdez of Dallas, Texas and Madison Valdez of Dallas, Texas.

Preceded in death by her parents Samuel Estrada Sr, mother Petra Estrada. Brothers Samuel Estrada (Manuela), Victor Manuel Estrada and Jose Estrada. Also, by her beloved grandson Jordan Micheal Valdez- Parrish.

John 11:25

Jesus said to her "I am the resurrection and the life". The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.
