It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clara Arrington, a cherished woman known for her warm humour, humility, and easy-going nature. Clara was born on April 17, 1953, and left this world on July 8, 2024. Though her physical presence is no longer among us, her legacy of grace and kindness continues to touch everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her lessons, primarily to always do the right thing and to never stop learning, continue to inspire.

Clara was the beloved wife of the late Charles Leonard Arrington of Quitman Georgia, who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her brother, Mike Green, and sister, Brenda Miller. Clara was the cherished daughter of Joann Wise Green and Alfred Dorsey Green, who greeted her in heaven before us.

A private burial service will be held to honour Clara's life on July 12, 2024, at  5 pm at the Funston Babtist Cemetary in Funston, GA. There will be a Celebration of life to follow In Valdosta GA. All family are welcome. 

The world feels a little less bright without Clara in it, but we take comfort in knowing that she is with our Father in Heaven. Her spirit of laughter and humility will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew her. Clara Arrington may have left this world, but she will never leave the hearts of the people who loved her. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we hold tight to the belief that we will see her again in heaven one day.
