Claire Anita Mondor (Bissonnette), 88, passed away peacefully at Pierce Memorial  Baptist home on January 18th, 2025. 

She leaves behind her grand daughter Krista Mondor, her grandson Michael Mondor and a great grand son Kaiden Gross- along with her niece Celeste De Sevigne and nephews Bruce, James and Glenn Racicot. 

Born in Putnam, CT, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Aldea Bissonnette. She was married to Maurice "Red" Mondor for 38 years and had one son, Paul Mondor.  They raised their son in Attawaugan, CT  then  moved onto Alexander's lake in Dayville before finally residing  in Brooklyn, CT.  

 Claire enjoyed traveling, cooking, bird watching, spending time with her family and friends on the lake and  putting together puzzles. She will forever be remembered for her big heart and bold personality.

She is predeceased by her husband Maurice Mondor, her son Paul Mondor, her sister Jane Racicot and three brothers Roland, Theodore and Leonard Bissonnette. 

A memorial service will be held at Shaw- Marjercik funeral home in Webster, MA in the next couple weeks. Family will update
