Claire J Battles, 85, of Port Richey FL, died peacefully Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at home.

Born in Westport Ma, She was preceded in death by her parents George B, and Irene Goyette, 2 brother's Roland Goyette, Arthur Goyette, 1 sister Florence Johnson and her beloved companion Leo G. Duquette.

Claire was a beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Friend. She will be missed by many.

Survivors including her 2 son's: Steven W Owens and his wife Heidi Owens, James Owens and his wife Lucia Owens. 3 Brother's: Armand G Goyette, Albert Goyette and Oscar Goyette. 5 Grandchildren: Steven J Owens, Kevin Owens, Mark Owens, Melanie Machado and Katie Owens. 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

I'd Like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and bright sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
