In November of 1996, my mother found out that the "kidney stone" that she was being prepped to remove was actually a child; me. She took my older brother out to Sunshine Cafe to discuss my name and ending up falling in love with the name of a wild child running around the restaurant. She then determined to name me after her father and my aunt in hopes to have the same love and joy that they did.
