Cindy's obituary

Cindy Meyer-Simmons, 63, of Redding, CA, passed away on August 19, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.

She was born June 7, 1959 to Bud and Judy Meyer as their special first born of seven children. She married Mick Simmons, the love of her life on November 25, 1978. They had two beautiful girls Hannah and Leah, who gave them five grandchildren that she adored and loved spending time with; Quin, Irisa, Taysen, Israel and Estoria.

Cindy was well known and loved during the many years she worked at Liberty Christian in the front office. She went on to work at Dr.Rhodes office and loved getting to know all the patients there, until she retired in 2013.

She loved helping in many different ministries at their church and enjoyed using her beautiful voice to worship Jesus for many years. Cindy also was an accomplished seamstress sewing many wonderful creations for family and friends.

She will be immensely missed for her wonderful hugs, joyful spirit and the way she loved so well. She loved Jesus fiercely and it was so evident in her life with the faith she carried even unto the end. We are so thankful that because of His sacrifice for us on the cross we will someday be with her again…what a beautiful day that will be.

There will be a memorial service held on October 1st, 11:00 at Crossroads Baptist church: 12105 Dry Creek rd. Bella Vista, CA. It will also be live streamed for those not able to attend.
