Cindy Ann Jeska danced her way into heaven on December 30, 2020 after a two-year battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Cindy was born January 9, 1959 in Fosston, MN to Darlene (Mineheine) and Ronald Jeska. After graduating from Fosston High School in 1977, she moved to the Twin Cities, eventually settling in Edina. She focused her passion and talents in crafts towards a career as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and enjoyed her work in two metro-area senior living facilities. After a few years, she redirected her career to the insurance industry where she worked as a marketer, financial planner support, and administrative support for the companies of State Farm, Prudential, and ECA Marketing. She took great pride in having earned a BA in Business Administration from Metropolitan State University while simultaneously working.

Cindy was a bright and loving light in the lives of all who knew her. She was always up for adventure and preferred to be on-the-go. She loved to travel and explore and spent most weekends dancing. Other favorite activities included bicycling, camping, reading, attending concerts, or finding additions to her whimsical collections of toys and trinkets! She would drop everything at a moment’s notice to spend time with friends or family, especially her nieces and nephews. She found a loving church family at Unity Minneapolis Church where she was a long-time member.

Cindy leaves behind two brothers and two sisters-in-law (Larry/Cheryl Jeska, Marshall and Jeff/Sara Jeska, Waconia) two nieces, four nephews and countless friends. A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held in summer of 2021 once family and friends can safely gather.
