Chub N. Finney (Aaron), age 76, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2021. He was born on December 31, 1944 to Thomas and Susie Mae Finney as their 9th child of 10. Chub married June Finney (Abbott) on August 4, 1963. Together they had two sons: Chip N. Finney II (Aaron), and Benjamin ‘J’ Finney. Chub spent 26 years as a truck driver. Afterwards he retired from Central Plains Steel in Wichita.
Chub is preceded in death by: His parents- Thomas and Susie Mae Finney and his sisters: Rosetta Mae Summers, Lois Amboline Acree, Nell Dean Miller, Sue Jean Lane. His brothers; J.B. Finney, Lonnie Leon Finney, Donald Lee Finney, Thomas Ivan Finney. Along with his son Benjamin ‘J’ Finney.
He is survived by; his loving wife of 57 years, June Finney.His Sister- Judy (Roger) Bockelman. His son- Aaron N. Finney II (Chip), his daughter-in-law Christy Finney, and his six grandchildren: Levi Coykendall, Nicole (Shane) Taylor, Valeen (Scot) Palmer, Tiffany (Ryan) Kramer, BJ (Amanda) Finney, and Brooke (Mark) Mauer. Along with his fourteen great grandchildren; Cooper, Alex, Alayna, Jaxton, Aniston, Ashton, Jayson, Elizabeth, Lane, Bailey, Aubree, Kaden, Zoey, and Benjamin.
Chub will be greatly missed for his laugh, ornery jokes, never ending gift to make any stranger smile, love for anyone, and kind heart. We take comfort knowing he is reunited with the Lord, his loved ones, and back on his motorcycle enjoying the open roads of Heaven.
The family invites you to join them at a graveside service to say final goodbyes at 11 a.m. on June 5, 2021 at the Clearwater, KS cemetery.
