When Chris moved to Canada, I was a little bummed because I figured I wouldn't see him as much, but I did manage to get up there for some winter activities. Chris always adapted to whatever play that was available in his environment. B.C. turned out to be a really great place for him because there were so many opportunities for him to thrive there.

The Wu family on vacation in Grand Teton National Park. Chris acquired his adventurous spirit in part from the great travel experiences that were provided by his parents. Not sure what year this was but I am guessing 1971.

2004, Nāpali Coast State Wilderness Park, Hawaii, USA
Chris and I spent a lot of time together on Kauai. We took Cameron and Carol (Chris's brother and sister-in-law to be) on a multi-day kayak trip along the entire length of the Napali Coast. Chris referred to it as the Mount Everest of ocean kayaking. It was quite an adventure, just ask Carol!
