I first met Chris when he started with TELUS in the early 2000's and had opportunities to work with him on several accounts over the years.  He was always positive, helpful and fun to be around.

Chris would often share stories about his outdoor exploits, and the pictures here show what an enthusiastic outdoorsman he truly was.  Wish we had connected on the slopes!

My condolences to Chris' family and many friends.

Chris and I were pretty new into the CSA (CSE) team and we had gone with a large TELUS group to Cisco Networkers in LA. Chris was our local "guide" as he had grown up in California, this is also where we learned we had some common experience in Fresno where he grew up and I have lots of family. Chris brought with him his bright, positive, and energetic vibe to all of us at TELUS, over the 24 years it was the same as it was in 2001 in this picture.

Chris volunteering for TELUS CSA team event sorting food at the foodbank. Here he is with the other Chris on the team (we referred to them both as "bad" and "good" Chris, the taller one was the "bad" one). Chris always volunteered for these events.
I am sending my very best to Chris’ family and loved ones. As a Groton classmate, Chris always had a smile and positive word and seemed to radiate sunshine. I am sad to hear of his passing and am thinking of his family during this time of loss.

I worked with Chris for a few years, he was always kind and cheerful. A great person to work with.
Uncle Chris was a passionate person. In everything he did, whether it was cooking or skiing, he always had a lively energy about him.
My favourite memories of Chris are from Whistler.  Any time we saw him on the hill, he had a huge bright smile and was gracious enough to ski with those of us not up to his level.  He was happy and carefree when in the mountains and this joy was shared with everyone around him.

Almost every time Chris came to our house we would rip a few laps down my street on our skateboards! 🤙🏻

Chris came over to Vancouver Island to help me do some renovations on our house. After helping me with construction work all day, Chris would make these lavish dinners in his RV and it was like eating in a five star restaurant every night!

For years, Chris wanted to ski the Phalanx Glacier. The conditions finally came together the day before his birthday last year and we had a long tour day and great memories.

Chris and I paddled across Boundary Bay several times. Chris rarely wanted to go when the water was calm but instead waited until it was windy, snowing or some other austere condition to make it a great adventure! Chris was always up for a challenge in the outdoors!

September 13, 2023 was the last time I saw Chris. He was in between chemo treatments so had enough time and energy to get away for some fishing in Squamish. We brought our RVs together like we always talked about and camped out under the trees. We did a smudging/healing ceremony but unfortunately it didn't work as intended. My last memory of Chris is a really good one.
