Christopher's obituary
Chris grew up in the Thompkins Community and joined the Mermacile Church of Christ at a young age. He attended PS 247 Elementary school and graduated from Brooklyn Academy High School. He then attended Kingsborough Community College two years to obtain a degree in Welding.
He was a hard-working man, devout father and family man and loved to travel with his family. His favorite place to getaway was the Ocean.
He joined the military where he traveled the world. After returement from the military, he was employed as a Welder at Flanders Filters in Fort Lauderdale, FL for approximately 28 years. He became ill in 2009 and was diagnosed with cancer from which he later transitioned.
Chris was preceded in death by his father –Willie D. Ward, his sister - Sandra Ward, his niece - Sharelle Ward, his nephew - Quay Ward and his cousin – Koneisha Ward.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother - Earnestine Ward; one son - Roderik Ward, one grandson – Kendrick: one brother– Darant (wife -Stephanie); his closest friends ; all of his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and all who loved and cherished him.
