Christopher's obituary

Christopher Joshua Stout known to many as Chris, passed away on March 9, 2024, in Utica, New York at the age of 42. He was born on June 22,1981 in Elmira, New York. Chris battled type 1 diabetes since the tender age of three and faced various challenges throughout his life, including time in foster homes and mental hospitals. His struggles have now come to an end, and he can finally rest in peace without pain. Chris will be fondly remembered for his humor and thoughtfulness he made sure to reach out on every holiday and birthdays, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. He is survived by his sister, Susie Mastowski (Robert Honeycutt) of Pennsylvania; a half-brother Robert Mastowski of Pennsylvania; a brother Edward Stout of New York; and his biological mother, Elaine Fulmer of New York. Additionally, he leaves behind four nieces - Sadie Mastowski, Cheyenne Honeycutt, Riley Honeycutt, and Raina Honeycutt of Pennsylvania one nephew Mason Mastowski of Pennsylvania; as well as a great-niece Evelyn Kavran and a great-nephew Hunter McCurdy both of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by a cousin, Ruth Young of New York whom was like a mother figure to him and his siblings. Chris was preceded in death by his younger brother Walter Leroy Stout (also known as Walter Casper Cox) and his biological father, Leon Edward Stout Senior. A memorial service to honor the life of Chris will be held this summer in Elmira New York. May he rest in peace, free from all the challenges he faced in his life.
