Christopher Boardman Silcock, age 80, passed away peacefully on November 19th, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida.

Born in Morogoro, Tanzania, Christopher’s life began on the wide, open landscapes of East Africa — a setting that shaped his spirit of adventure from the very start. He spent his early decades living throughout East and South Africa during the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s, gathering experiences and friendships that would stay with him for a lifetime.

Christopher was, at his core, an adventurist — someone who moved through the world with curiosity, courage, and an unshakeable sense of wonder. Yet for all the boldness of his life’s journey, he carried himself with quiet humility. He was endlessly selfless, always helping others without ever seeking recognition or thanks. Those who knew him remember him as a man who showed up, lent a hand, and gave generously of himself simply because it was in his nature to do so.

His kindness, warmth, and steady presence earned him friendships across the globe. No matter where he lived, Christopher built meaningful connections that transcended distance and time.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and he leaves behind a legacy of grace, gentleness, and a life lived fully and authentically.
