My father, Christopher Boardman Silcock, passed away on November 19th, 2025, and the world feels different without him. He was the quiet hero of our family—humble, steady, and endlessly giving. He lived a life few could imagine, from the landscapes of East and South Africa to the shores of Florida, always finding ways to help others along the way.

As his daughter, I feel the loss deeply. But I also feel immense gratitude for every lesson, every moment of comfort, and every bit of courage he gave me simply by being who he was. His love will stay with me for the rest of my life, guiding me the way he always quietly did.

My dearest friend... it was a total honor to have been your friend for so many years and to have been there for you in your escape from your physical restraints.  I will love you forever and always.  He did so much for me in my life too.  Helped me in so many ways.  We fought and loved and laughed about it all.  And Chris I have one final word for you "you're right, you're right, I know you're right!"  as in "When Harry Met Sally" movie line - it was our joke when one of us got on a roll about something we would lighten it up. So ...  Fair winds and following seas as us sailors say!  Love you. "Big D" aka "D" aka "Deat" all the nicknames you gave me "C".  Love to the ends of this universe and beyond.

My condolences to Christopher's family. He was and will remain in my heart one of my favorite people.
