During his childhood, Chris developed a passion for water. Whether it was lakes, rivers, streams, pools, or the ocean, he found solace and joy in being near it. He spent his summers boating and water skiing on Lake Oswego and enjoyed the shores of Cannon Beach.
Chris attended Tigard High School, where he embraced the social aspects of school life. He actively participated in various sports and activities, and his adventurous spirit and curiosity led him to engage with adults in deep conversations about ideas, theories, and historical events.
Chris, An accomplished outdoorsman, conquered many rock crags and summited Mt. Hood with his father and friends. He also shared memorable fishing and hunting experiences with his Papa Bill. Following the footsteps of his beloved Nana and Papa, Chris pursued higher education at Oregon State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. During his college years, he embarked on a transformative journey to Tunisia, Africa, studying Arabic and immersing himself in the Muslim culture.

As a senior appraiser, Chris took pride in his work and often handled complex appraisal projects. He genuinely cared for the community members of Washington County, especially those facing cultural and language barriers while navigating the intricate tax system.
Chris found love with Jenna Prosser, and they pursued their love of travel, home renovation projects, and spending time with their dog, Karl.
After the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic, Chris hoped for a fresh start in a new place. He decided to move to Chicago to pursue his passion for law and enrolled at the University of Illinois Chicago Law School, where he was a second-year student at the time of his passing.
