Cousin Chris, rest in POWER, King! Til next time we meet.
Faith, my deepest sympathy. In the midst of your grief you and those who cared for him have shared a life well lived, albeit short. A time filled with vitality and living during his sorjourn here. You can see, all throughout his years, his joy of living, his love for you and all those he met. Though I did not know him, I can see the child, the man in the memories, music and photos you shared. The void still remain, the tears still flow, but the memories, the love you shared will bring peace and solace in the years ahead. May you continue to walk in love and faith and in the thankfullness of nurturing and sharing time with such a wonderful human being . He'll live in your heart forever.

Hey "Faithie" as we always called each other, I just want you to know that God is Able and he is King. The loss of Christopher is such devastating news. I am so sorry for your loss. He was always such a mild manner, respectful and loving child. It is my prayer that God continues to hold you close and give you strength to carry on. Know that you were the perfect mother for a perfect child. Please stand by the name that has been giving to us both, for that is all we can do, have FAITH that God will get you through. Please accept my true condolences and prayers for you and your family.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Psalms 91:2
Hello Faith
My heart goes out to you and your family, I pray strength and comfort during this time. I can't image what you may be going through but I know you don't have to do it alone. Embrace your family and receive their support but most of all clinch to Gods unfailing Love, He will get you through.
When GOD fills a Christian with His Holy Spirit it lives on. No one can deny it, squash it or ignore it. The Holy Spirit indwelt Christopher and never departed from him. Chris was a Christian martyr as well as a child of GOD. A Christian martyr because he embraced GOD, lived for GOD and demonstrated a solid faith in GOD despite the health challenges he endured from birth. He labored on and never complained or asked why he was so challenged. He just continued living like a true soldier of GOD.

I remember the time when I assisted Chris and his Mom to distribute toys to poor children -- a practice he took the initiative to start at the tender age of about nine. He did this for a few years. His love for children lived on and children always adored him as was often evidenced in the various schools in which he worked.

Chris was funny, articulate, engaging and well read. The brilliance of his writing is immediately revealed in the letters he wrote to his Mom for her birthdays. He never bragged or cared to expose his true worth or the full reservoir of his knowledge. His love for his family members (particularly his mother and maternal grandmother) was beyond expectation. Already I have been missing his quick and infectious smile which always warmed my heart. There is so much more I could say about Chris but I will simply end by saying, "Chris, I love you more than you could ever imagine".
Hi Faith,

I am so sorry for your loss & I pray that the Lord will give you comfort & peace!
I remember Chris when you worked at the OBOE & he was always a quiet & nice young man.
Words cannot express the saddest I felt when I heard the news, so please know that the few people who still work here are holding you & your family up in prayer!

With sincere condolences,
Marion Atkins
Faith would sometimes bring Chris to work at OBE and I would come into her office and there he would sit. I will miss his kindness and beautiful smile.

I send my condolences to Faith and the entire family.
There are some things in life that we may never understand, but everything happens for a reason. Let us always bear in mind that something good will come out of this great loss. Christopher was a person who was very giving of himself to others. He had that sly look sometimes like “man are you serious”, especially when it came to music.” He never let his illnesses be shown, because I felt he did not want people to feel sorry for him or treat him differently. Christopher’s life journey has come to an end, but my fond memories of him will always be in my heart. Rest in peace Christopher “Bunni” David Richardson.
I remember Chris with his soft, gentle nature, his sparkling eyes and capturing smile. Chris was a concerned individual who had no qualms at expressing his feelings especially those of love. Although he did this for everyone, he especially demonstrated this to his Mother and Grandmother. They of course returned his love in the magnitude in which it was received, wholeheartedly. He was always at his Mother’s side. He loved her greatly and showed as much concern for her as she did for him. They consoled and uplifted each other. They shared each other’s burdens.

He was a strong individual, handling life’s pressures without undue complaint, taking each day as it came. He gave as much as he could and while demanding little in return. We will be forever grateful for him in our lives because we can all learn from his life. Live life to the fullest, enjoy friends and family and be ever grateful for all that life affords us.
Faith, we’re truly sorry for the loss of your angel. Please accept our deepest and sincere condolences and may the almighty comfort you and your love ones at this time
My heart feels low for my cousin Christopher at this time of sadness he passed away so early in his life. I remember us singing downstairs in Grandma's house Lauryn Hill and Biggie. We used to have a lot of fun on our trips seeing each other in New Jersey. He was an honest and smart and kind young man who I know will be resting in Peace with Angels and with God. Love to you my cuz.
Christopher,
This is your Aunt Beverly. I had the great pleasure of meeting you, and sharing such wonderful words of wisdom last year at Uncle Alberts funeral. I will never forget that. I never knew that would be our last little chat together, but as in Deuteronomy 33.12. Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the Lord LOVES rests between his shoulders. May you S.I.P.
Our deepest condolences to you Faith, the memories that you have posted are beautiful. Chris’s writings show his deep love of you and your family and broad perspective of life.
May these wonderful memories sustain you as we celebrate a short but meaningful life. Don & Brenda
Wishing you peace to bring comfort. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
Hazel - I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Christopher since his birth 33 years ago. He has been a real treasurer and despite the difficulties Christopher always was a considerate, loving, unselfish person. While endeavoring to make a difference for the betterment of others. Christopher you have done your best in this life. God has called you home. Rest in Peace my beloved Christopher. We all loved you, but God love you more. Sleep on my special Christopher.
Faith, you are in my prayers for comfort and strength from the Lord.
Dear Faith,

My deepest sympathies, love and prayers go out to you and your family at this time and may your faith in the Lord give you strength to see you through all the rough days ahead. The sun will shine again when the fond memories of him puts a smile on your face.

Love,
Valerie Wilkes & Famiy
Chris was blessed with many talents. The one that spoke the loudest to me was his spirituality and his strong belief in God. He was a smart young man who adored his Mom and all his relatives. He left us much too soon.
The last time I saw Chris, he was a toddler, my sister's god-son; a cute little boy- running, falling, taking that in stride and getting up to run again. Faith's pride and joy, in whom she invested so much love!
Faith, I can empathize, but shall never know the grief you must feel now. May the emptiness be alleviated by your warm memories of him and the beautiful music you shared. Draw comfort from the loving care of your family and friends and the assurance that the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you.
Love and blessings.
