Christopher M. Raleigh passed away in Modesto, CA on Dec. 4, 2022 at the age of 63 of natural causes.

Chris was born in Carmichael, CA on May 1, 1959. He lived in California all of his life except for two years in his childhood in Denver, CO, and attended Northridge High School in Walnut Creek. He lived in Concord after that and then moved to Modesto, where he lived for the past 30+ years.

When he was in his 20s, Chris worked as a valet on the executive car for Southern Pacific Railroad, where he developed an interest in cooking. Chris had an exuberant personality and, with a lifelong love of animals, always had at least one dog or cat companion.

For most of his life, Chris lived close to his mother, Kathleen Raleigh, and took care of her in her final days before she passed away in 2018.

Chris is survived by two sons, Nicholas and Jason.
