Those of us who know Chris were so blessed to have him in our lives. He lived life honorably and with a strong sense of purpose, and was devoted to his faith, family, friends, and country. We all have precious memories of him, his inexhaustible optimism, his great sense of humor, his brilliance in imagining new and innovative approaches to solve hard problems, and his fearlessness in tackling them. On 16 December 2017 America lost a true hero, Lt Colonel Christopher Neil Quaid, USAF Retired.

Chris was born in Huffman, Texas, on 07 October 1970, to John and Martha Quaid. He was talented athletically, active in school and community programs, and graduated from Huffman High School in 1989.
